# Audio component for streaming Shoutcast/Icecast

Hi,

Any chance to have the Audio component to stream any Shoutcast/Icecast streams instead of files only? It says in the doc “or any audio from a link”. It would be great if that last promise would be fulfilled 🙂

As @Darren_Murphy said it does work with the audio component. Can you clarify if it does not work on some specific types of device?

Wow, sorry my bad! I does work. I’m unable to explain why i didn’t when I tried to implement that the first time.
