# Audio clip not playing on mobile

Hi All. I’ve added an audio clip to google drive so the app plays sound clip perfectly on my laptop but not on mobile. Any ideas how to fix please?

Google Drive is not recommended for hosting media.

How large is the file?

Is the file publicly shared?

It’s very small, 290kb. Not publicly shared (i don’t think!)

Where should i save it then so functions with app on laptop and mobile please?

You can store files in glide using Glide’s storage, which will be more reliable.

The reason it is not working from Google drive is because the file is not publicly shared. You have to change the sharing settings on the file to public for it to work with the app.
