# API - Getrows how to specify columns returned with curl

I can see a way in JS to specify which columns to return but using curl i’ve tried multiple “guesses” to include the columns parameter with no success. thanks for any help.

I don’t think you have an option to do this via the API. A query can be executed if it’s a Big Table, but it has some limitations.
