# API Call "Set-columns-in-row", does it always need "rowId"

I am using the API to update a table.

It works fine if I use “rowId” as the reference for the row I am calling  
However when I try using another column value as an identifier, it doesn’t work?

Does it only work on “rowId”?

Yes, only RowID.
