# Anyone with problems using XC columns (e.g. incognito mode)

Hi!

I have a few places where I have been using xc columns:

- reverse geolocation
- utc date
- hyperformulas for text manipulation

BUT I have found that ‘often’ I cannot use the values that appear to write to buttons. The content might be there on screen, but nothing is saved.

Or the component does not want to appear when I am testing with safari private or chrome incognito.

I was wondering if this is just an issue for me, or a general issue regarding whether scripts are allowed to run in these situations.

We think there are some delays calculating values in iOS 15 Safari. We will try to investigate those soon.

ok - that makes sense (I was just testing on own iPhone 12 - not yet upgraded to ios 15 though, still on 14.8)
