# Anyone notice difference in load times between new and classic galleries?

I just recreated one of my classic apps into new glide and I’ve noticed the load times for galleries has changed pretty drastically. It feels like in the classic version it loads all the photos at once, in the new version it has to load each photo when you hit the next button.
Anyone else notice this? Definitely slows down the experience.

Does this happen if you use smaller size images?

I uploaded a bunch of photos that are 50kb and it definitely has a noticeable performance increase, but not the seamless experience I had with the classic app. It still takes a moment to load each photo.
When I normally upload photos I am just loading photos from my iPhone 13 Pro through the camera app. Nothing very special.

Any luck finding out more info about this? Performance still feels so sluggish just with photos from my phone.

Support asked if you can record in a video the difference between your classic and new image uploads so they can see if they can do something.
