# Animated GIF tool recommendation

I am currently using [https://recordit.co/](https://recordit.co/) to create screen GIFs for my projects. It is nice and easy to use but the resolution is low.

Any recommendations on GIF tools you are using for your screenshots with higher resolutions?

Gyazo. It saves the files to it’s own cloud and gives you a direct link or you can download it. There is a free version but the paid version is pretty inexpensive. The paid version lets you record up to 60 seconds worth of a GIF and/or MP4 and the resolution is better with the paid I think. Check out the free version but let us all know what you end up with.

I’m using KAP and it’s very good so far. Only for Mac
