# Address autocomplete: roadmap status?

We need users to enter addresses (worldwide), and free-text entry is too error-prone for our use case. Everything we’ve found to work around this in Glide is disproportionately complex for what is a fairly basic input need.

Is native address autocomplete on the near-term roadmap?

I highly doubt it. With Glide’s focus shifting from Glide Classic to GlideOS, I don’t forsee any new features coming to Glide Classic anymore. Especially when a feature like address auto complete requires a third party integration. Something like that could probably be prompted into existence using GlideOS so I don’t think they would bother trying to build something into the old builder. I think the old Glide we are used to will only get major bug fixes for the most part, and no new features going forward.
