# Add a record directly from a choice component

So, I’ve stumbled upon this “issue” many times and my workaround is simply to use a button for a new form screen. However, it would be cool if we could add a record directly to a table from a choice component.

Imagine that we’re choosing a name. But the name is not in the table. Instead of nothing, it could have an “add button” if nothing is found in that choice component.

I feel I might be picky over here but I’m just giving my two cents to this incredible tool. Cheers!

Have you tried AI Component with mix of Queries, JSON, action to add rows ?
