# Action is not reading a cell properly

When you go to certain screens in the builder (in your case the Home tab), make sure no components are selected. Then look at the options tab in the right hand panel. There should be a filter option to filter the screen to a specific row.

All screens are connected to a single table row one way or another. If your table has no rows or you have a filter that filters out all rows, then the screen won’t be connected to any row and that’s when you start to see certain components disappear if they rely on existing data.

Jeff, your suggestion for getting Jot forms to input the data was excellent. All I have to do now is rebuild the collection form.
