# Access "Today" value in addition to "Now/Current Date Time" value

We need this `today` value in other places besides default value on date pickers:

- Form Special Values
- Math Columns

There are MANY times that I want to get the current date with absolutely NO time added.

Its a great feature and so much needed tbh..  
but I learnt from you pal to create a formatted date column .. just until they add it.
