# Ability to add internal comments/descriptions to data columns and app components

For collaborative development projects (and just for remembering what I did in the future), it would be very helpful to be able to add internal developer comments to:

- Data columns (like [Airtable descriptions](https://support.airtable.com/docs/adding-descriptions-in-airtable))
- App components

Implementing just like Airtable descriptions would be very useful (a single textbox description shared by all project developers).

I am aware that Glide are thinking are about this. I don’t know if or when we might see it, but it is on the radar.
